Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam has inaugurated its largest manufacturing facility to date at Huu Thanh Industrial Park in Duc Hoa Commune, Tay Ninh Province, marking a major milestone in the company's long-term investment strategy in Vietnam and its commitment to sustainable beverage production.
Backed by an investment of more than $300 million, the new facility spans 20 hectares and has an annual production capacity of approximately 1.2 billion litres. The plant is designed to strengthen the company's manufacturing capabilities while supporting growing domestic and regional demand for beverages.
The facility features a highly automated smart manufacturing system integrated with an Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) warehouse, enabling improved production efficiency, inventory management and supply chain operations.
Sustainability has been a key focus in the plant's design. Built to LEED Gold standards, the facility is capable of producing 100 per cent recycled PET (rPET) packaging, supporting Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam's environmental goals and its commitment to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050.
The new manufacturing site is also expected to generate around 3,000 direct jobs, contributing to local economic development and employment opportunities in Tay Ninh Province.
The inauguration represents Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam's largest investment in the country to date, reinforcing the company's confidence in Vietnam's growth potential while advancing smart manufacturing, sustainable production practices and innovation within the food and beverage industry.
