Saudi Arabia’s King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed 1,125 food baskets in Balochistan and Sindh provinces of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, benefiting 7,875 needy people in flood-affected areas.
The initiative is part of the third phase of the Food Security Support Project in Pakistan.
The assistance comes within the framework of the relief and humanitarian efforts carried out by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to assist various needy and affected countries around the world.
The King Salman Relief Center, established by Saudi Arabia, has been a beacon of hope for millions of people worldwide. The centre has undertaken numerous projects in health, education, and humanitarian assistance.
Balochistan and Sindh region in southwestern Pakistan have faced recent challenges. economic hardships, natural disasters and displacement left families struggling for basic needs, including food.
Furthermore, led by Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Relief Center consistently aids global crises. Moreover, their latest initiative targets food security in Balochistan and Sindh.
